[ANKUENDIGUNG] Wartungsarbeiten am 13.12.2017 am Server bytecluster0001 und diversen Diensten 6 Jahre, 4 Monate

Hi, wegen Wartungsarbeiten wird es am am Mittwoch, den 13.12.2017 in der Zeit von 18 bis ca. 22 Uhr zu Ausfällen aller Dienste von bytecluster0001 kommen. Dies betrifft: * Webseite und Wiki * Mailingliste * Mailkonten/-weiterleitungen * Redmine, Etherpad, Paste, owncloud, ... * Twitter-/IRC-Bot In der Zeit während alle notwendigen Software- und Kernelupdates nachgeholt. Ein Neustart ist dadurch notwendig. Bei der Software werden dabei mindestens Redmine, Etherpad und ownCloud (Upgrade auf nextcloud) aktualisiert. Die Bekanntgabe des Abschlusses der Arbeiten wird auf gleichem Wege wie die Ankündigung erfolgen. Grüße, Marcel

Fwd: Fabkit Mk5 delivery update 6 Jahre, 4 Monate

Hallo Liste, der FabKit Lasercutter wird leider nicht mehr im Oktober geliefert. Unser Händler hat in der weitergeleiteten Mail ausführlich erklärt, dass es in China zu Lieferschwierigkeiten kam und er mit einem Abschluss Mitte November rechnet. Es gibt aber auch schon Verbesserungen am FabKit, z.B. eine Sicherheitssperre und verbesserte Verkabelung. Also nochmals gedulden und die Zeit nutzen. Hallo, es finden dieses Jahr erstaunlicherweise noch zwei Hackathons in Erfurt (und einer in Jena) statt: - 4. Wir sind organisatorisch nicht eingebunden, also dürfen wir auch selbst kostenlos teilnehmen. Wir brauchen uns auch nicht unbedingt auf Eventbrite anmelden, sondern können direkt bei Sebastian von CGI Bescheid geben. Zu gewinnen gibt es etwas Hardware. Lichtwerkstatt Jena: Photonik-Makerspace Nutzungsverhalten 6 Jahre, 4 Monate

Hallo liebes bytespeicher-Team, "Was vorstellbar ist, ist auch machbar" - schon Albert Einstein wusste, dass Dinge selbst in die Hand zu nehmen, der beste Weg ist. Auch wir, als Studierende der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar im Studiengang Medienmanagement, möchten unseren Beitrag zur Maker-Kultur leisten. Daher führen wir in Kooperation mit dem Makerspace Lichtwerkstatt Jena, das auf die Lehre und Anwendung im Photonik-Bereich spezialisiert ist, eine Erhebung zur Zielgruppenanalyse durch. Wir möchten herausfinden, welche Personengruppen dieses Makerspace nutzen und wie die Lichtwerkstatt Jena den Zugang so einfach wie möglich gestalten kann. Wir sind auf euch durch Steve Hentschke vom Makerspace Erfurt aufmerksam geworden und würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wir die Stärke eurer Community nutzen könnten, indem ihr an unserer Umfrage teilnehmt und diese ggfs. streut, damit wir möglichst viele Teilnehmer generieren können. Umstrukturierung und Zusammenlegung von Web-Diensten 6 Jahre, 5 Monate

Hallo zusammen, ich hab es schon ein paar mal anklingen lassen und auch bei einem der letzten Plenen anklingen lassen, dass ich es gut fände, wenn wir mal unsere Dienste/URL-Sturktur überarbeiten würden. Das bisher gewachsene System mit den vielen Bytespeicher-URLs, die wir faktisch aber als Vereinsmittel auch im Makerspace nutzen „funktioniert“ einfach nicht mehr schön und schafft vermutlich mehr Verwirrung, als das es hilft. Insbesondere stört mich inzwischen ehrlich gesagt auch, dass wir getrennte Weblogs haben. Das fällt jedes mal auf die Füße, wenn wir über allgemeine Vereinsthemen schreiben wollen und alle Seiten befüllen müssten. Hier ist mein großer Wunsch, die Weblogs zusammenzufassen in ein gemeinsames Weblog und dieses auf technikkultur-erfurt.de <http://technikkultur-erfurt.de/> laufen zu lassen. Im Zuge dessen würden wir auch das Wiki auf eine Subdomain verschieben und das Wordpress (so wie fast jeder, der kein Geld hat) als CMS missbrauchen, um daraus eine ordentliche Startseite zu erstellen. So wie die bisherigen Reaktionen externer Interessierter waren, hat man überwiegend den Eindruck, dass das Wiki eher verwirrt als das es hilft. Marcel und ich haben schon mal für uns eine Liste aller Dienste gemacht und wie man diese umstrukturieren würde. Zum Zeitraum: Sofern nichts dazwischen kommt (zumindest ist es der Plan) würden wir das meiste zwischen den Feiertagen während des Congress Everywhere erledigen wollen.
